A project is a temporary activity which has been designed to produce a unique product, service or result. It is temporary, as it has a defined beginning and end, as well as a defined scope and finite resources, and it is unique, as it has a specific set of operations designed for a specific and singular goal. A project team will often consist of a group of people who don’t usually work together and who might come from different organisations or geographical areas.
At GGA, we subscribe to Project Management Institute (PMI) methodologies and approaches. Many of our consulting associates are PMI-certified, holding the coveted Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. Our consultants are not only schooled in the foundational skills of project management, but are also cross-trained on quality management techniques often used for process re-engineering, lean design or service quality improvement.
